How to play Russian Solitaire
This CDBRM page combines Russian Solitaire with a guide to the decisions it asks you to make. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Use example-led learning to give your round a clear purpose.
Yukon-style deal, same-suit building, no stock. Free solo play, no wagering.
Example-led learning
Read the worked example, identify its key decision, then look for a comparable decision while you play.
Your goal
Build four suit foundations from ace to king.
Step by step
- Move any face-up card and its tail onto the next higher rank of the same suit. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Controls
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown.
A useful example
A heart 6 fits a heart 7, not a spade 7.
Watch out for this
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy.
